Sensory Room

Our new bespoke Sensory Room is located at The Families Centre in West Moors. 

Designed, built, installed and donated by two local businessmen, in consultation with an occupational therapist and CHAOS parents of children with disabilities including complex/sensory needs, ASD, PMLD and mobility difficulties.

The room features:-

Wheel chair access/ Full size water bed heated to 30º c / Music centre & resonating seat/ Bubble tubes/ Infinity tunnel & tactile light panel/ Aroma diffuser unit/ Projector/ Mirror ball/ Fibre optic lights/  Fully interactive controls/ Removable floor pads.

We also have 2 Oxford Midi 170 mobile hoists.  Please ask when booking if you require a hoist and note that you will need to bring your own sling.

The Sensory room is available for hire during term time between 10am & 2pm. Other dates may be available with prior arrangement at an additional cost.

30mins -  £10

1 hour  - £15

1.5 hours - £20

2 hours - £25
